Bathroom Renovations Wandsworth

Having moved in recently to this large family home in Wandsworth, the owners wanted to update the existing shower rooms and family bathroom. The brief was to create a tranquil and grown-up master shower room with a large shower that was also cosy to be in so we designed a bespoke walk-in shower that felt cocooning as well as luxurious to be in. A colourful yet practical guest shower room for grandparents and a fun bathroom for their young daughter. 

We kept a brass finish throughout and included panelling, warm wood tones and natural stone to add warm into the schemes. Patterned blinds added texture and softness (GP &J Baker  “Poppy Spring’ in the bathroom and Tinsmiths ‘Osterley’ in the master shower room), along with wall lighting for an ambient setting .

Both vanities were bespoke to make the most of the space in the shower rooms. We went to Furnewal for the master shower room, who make wonderful solid oak pieces with marble tops, which are both practical and timeless in their appeal. The guest bedroom needed a slightly more cost-effective solution as it was used much less so we used Made in the Cellar, which was also bespoke with a stone top for practicality and was painted to match our scheme.

The Matki shower tray was colour matched to the wonderful vibrant coral in the Claybrook floor tiles, to create a seamless looking floor.

The Cast Iron Bath Company provided the shower, valve and radiator in a beautiful, polished brass for the master shower room, which really elevates the room and delivers on luxury, creating a wonderful, pampered experience.
