E-Design

Traditional design is not for everyone. However, having a beautiful, comfortable and practical home can be. If you are restricted by budget, location or are happy to work on your project on your own then e-design may well be for you.

Here’s how it works:

1.        We will have an initial discover call to run through the brief and then you will receive a questionnaire to capture all the details. This will include your budget for the room, your general aesthetic/style, the functionality of the space and its users and preferences in terms of colour, pattern and texture. If you are not sure how to describe your style, I can share lots of examples for you to look through and work out what you like and what you don’t like. Timescale may also be an important factor here when putting together a room as some products are made to measure so this could be a key factor in decisions.

2.        There will be an option for a scaled floor plan and furniture layout if you’d like me to look at how your existing room could work better or if you are furnishing a room for the first time then this would also be useful.

3.        Once I have all the information I need, I will curate your room scheme, from the brief provided including paint colours, wallpaper, fabric, tiles, furniture, lighting, hardware and accessories (depending on what you have included in the brief).

4.        Alongside your room scheme you will receive a shopping list with links to all the products included.

5.        Depending on which option you chose, you will either receive links to purchase the suggested room scheme samples or the samples will arrive in the post.

6.        There are also optional extras, we can discuss as follows:

a.        Fabric and tiles quantities calculated

b.        Joinery design – including elevations for a carpenter

c.        Liaising with curtain/blind/upholstery makers

d.        Antique sourcing

e.        Product procurement
